Jet Express Takes Home Truck Bash Trophies

If you’ve been keeping up with us on social media, you’ll know that this year, we’re trying our hand at Truck Shows – and what a start to our truck show endeavours we’ve had!

Back in April, we attended Truck Fest Peterborough and were thrilled to come away with not one, not two, but three Highly Commended certificates for some of our fleet! Our win meant that the hard work of our team members had paid off and had been recognised at an event that is so well known – we really were, and still are, incredibly proud of this achievement.

After having such a brilliant time at Truckfest, we decided that Truck Bash should be next on our list!

Our Truck Bash Experience

Organised by the brilliant Paul Brookes, Truck Bash serves to show off some of the most creative, impressive trucks around, as well as raising money for charity.

Hosted at Nuneaton Rugby Club, over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend, no less, it promised to be a brilliant weekend of fun, fleets, food and fundraising – and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

We prepared our vehicles ahead of time, with our drivers and maintenance team ensuring they were in tip top condition and looking as good as new before setting off for Nuneaton in the blazing sunshine!

Upon arrival, our fleet was lined up, last minute cleaning took place and we were ready to get mingling. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to a few familiar faces and meeting other truck and logistics enthusiasts. Coupled with great music, entertainment and food, it really was a brilliant weekend enjoyed by all involved.

And, just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, then came the trophies! The Jet Express Team was thrilled to bring home the following titles:

Truck Bash 2022 Best Mercedes – 1^st Place

Truck Bash 2022 Best Rigid – 3^rd Place

Truck Bash 2022 Best DAF – 3^rd Place

Truck Bash 2022 Best Fleet – Runner Up

We’re incredibly proud of our fleet, so to have some of our vehicles and the hard work our team put into maintaining them recognised by this fantastic event really was the icing on the cake.
