Taking Trophies Home at The Shed Charity Truck Show

Team Jet Express have done it again!

Last weekend, we attended The Shed Charity Truck Show at Countryside Park in Stourport and ended up leaving with another four trophies to add to our collection.

Our brilliant drivers worked incredibly hard to prepare their vehicles for the show, making sure they were 100% spotless inside and out, before making their way to the show for a weekend of good food, good music and even better trucks.

The turnout was absolutely fantastic and all the entered trucks were stunning, which is why we were so thrilled to return home with the following titles:

• Best Scania – congratulations to driver, Mark Coulson!
• Best DAF – congratulations to driver, Andy McKittrick!
• Best Fleet – 2^nd Place
• And the big one, BEST IN SHOW – huge congratulation to our Senior Maintenance Technician, Ryan Probert. What an amazing achievement!

Bringing home trophies is always a great feeling but, as with most truck shows we attend, it’s usually about something much bigger than a couple of titles.

Raising Money for The National Autistic Society

The Shed Charity Truck Show is an annual event put on by Dean and Sarah Hine to raise money for the National Autistic Society – a charity particularly close to their hearts due to their son being diagnosed with autism 10 years ago.

Because all the money raised goes to the NAS, they really do put their heart and soul into making it such a fun show with the warmest, friendliest atmosphere. Our team were treated to a weekend filled with meeting brilliant people, being entertained by fantastic live music and knowing they were helping to raise money for such an important cause.

We were absolutely thrilled to see that The Shed Charity Truck Show raised £4621.93 overall, a huge contribution to a charity that is so important to so many people.

A huge thanks to Dean and Sarah for organising such a brilliant show and allowing us to have such an enjoyable weekend – it’s not one we’ll forget in a hurry!

And, of course, a huge thank you to Jet Team who took time out of their weekend to attend and represent Jet Express so well – and congratulations on your fantastic wins!
